Haroldo Dante was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Igor Cavalera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Lima in the 8th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Sá in the 11th minute of play. Arthur Queraria made in the 14th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leonel Messi however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Sá in the 15th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Igor Cavalera notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante. Haroldo Dante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Igor Cavalera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Haroldo Dante when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Igor Cavalera in the 23rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Haroldo Dante kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 29 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haroldo Dante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Cavalera. The throw-in from João Barone in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Arthur Queraria. In the 34th match minute, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Queraria to maneuver through the defense. Mai Yi Xu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Sá in the 40th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Cavalera to make the kick off. Igor Cavalera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Haroldo Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cavalera in the 55th minute of play. Jerônimo Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 63rd minute Igor Cavalera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Dan Zimmermann replaced Thomas Lang. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jerônimo Vergílio was slow to take the kick. During this time Ogro F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 71 minutes into the game, David Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Alysson Rezende was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aníbal Sá who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Alysson Rezende when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicko McBrain in the 75th minute of play forced Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ogro F.C.'s Marco Minnemann was substituted for Igor Cavalera. Ogro F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jerônimo Vergílio in the 78th minute. After taking down the ball on Ogro F.C.'s corner Marco Minnemann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Haroldo Dante quite easily take care of the ball. Haroldo Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Zimmermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Haroldo Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo Vergílio in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ogro F.C.'s zone, Aníbal Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alysson Rezende came out of the goal and Aníbal Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Minnemann in the 89th minute of play. Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Ogro F.C. from getting a goal against them. Haroldo Dante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Minnemann went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Ogro F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
