In the 6thth minute of the game Eduardo Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Ferrari's Bernardo Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Gergely Bollobás's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Prada was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. S.C. Ferrari's Bernardo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Caniggia in the 10th minute of play. Dorian Severo scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Prada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gergely Bollobás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Zhuang Fan Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhuang Fan Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the match SANFINS VLP got a corner. S.C. Ferrari's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Basílio Silveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. 25 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Viana came free, but Bernardo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Prada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gergely Bollobás's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Gergely Bollobás put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of David Prada. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind SANFINS VLP's goalkeeper David Prada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute S.C. Ferrari were awarded a corner. Acácio de Andrade went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Gergely Bollobás managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some careless play in the S.C. Ferrari defense, Claudio Caniggia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Lima. The S.C. Ferrari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Lima should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Claudio Caniggia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Lima. S.C. Ferrari's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Caniggia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 45 minutes into the match, SANFINS VLP's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Bollobás came free, but David Prada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Prada was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
SANFINS VLP's David Prada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gergely Bollobás in the 50th minute of play. Bernardo Lima made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Eduardo Viana sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, SANFINS VLP's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Bollobás came free, but David Prada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gergely Bollobás in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Prada saved SANFINS VLP from getting behind. David Prada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gergely Bollobás, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, SANFINS VLP's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Bollobás came free, but David Prada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes SANFINS VLP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Acácio de Andrade who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of SANFINS VLP booed when S.C. Ferrari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. SANFINS VLP's Basílio Silveira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for S.C. Ferrari. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Bollobás in the 72nd minute of play forced SANFINS VLP's goalkeeper David Prada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Prada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gergely Bollobás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Claudio Caniggia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, SANFINS VLP's Claudio Caniggia got a free kick in the 77th minute. S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gergely Bollobás's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Prada was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Acácio de Andrade got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Prada quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When S.C. Ferrari's Furo Furenbrink in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SANFINS VLP's goalie prevented a goal. Claudio Caniggia took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Lima. Bernardo Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. After having played for 95 minutes, Furo Furenbrink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Ferrari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Furo Furenbrink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SANFINS VLP's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
