In the 13th minute, Bebeto Pimenta made a precise shot to the right of David Prada. SANFINS VLP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. At first the shot seemed to be simple for SANFINS VLP's David Prada to catch but Lando Norin was lucky. It became 4-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. With a little luck, Que se abra o mar's Sandro Tepedino got control of the ball when Eduardo Viana tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to SANFINS VLP getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Inocencio Salbatore hit a great ball. Eduardo Viana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sandro Tepedino came out and tried to block the shot, but Eduardo Viana slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 86th minute. Sandro Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Viana in the 93rd minute of the match. SANFINS VLP's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Que se abra o mar had won, even though SANFINS VLP had held more of the ball.
