David Prada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Anselmo Fantini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Prada. SANFINS VLP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Fantini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Anselmo Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inocencio Salbatore helped the player get up and apologised. Inocencio Salbatore hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Aesir FC FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Carlos Eduardo Veiga went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Caniggia made a kick off. Luiz Eduardo Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuang Fan Zhen in the 51st minute of the match. Luiz Eduardo Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhuang Fan Zhen's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When Aesir FC FSCMZ's Sydney Ramalho in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
