Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Santana got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Edvaldo Motta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardinho Sharkin. The goal made the score 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardinho Sharkin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardinho Sharkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Saraiva in the 9th minute of play. Bernardinho Sharkin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Renato Saraiva's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goalkeeper Bernardinho Sharkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Santana. After 16 minutes Desportivo Coala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cafu Ringaa who took care of the corner kick. Bernardinho Sharkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Santana in the 19th minute of the match. Carlos Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Bernardinho Sharkin made a huge save. After 21 minutes Desportivo Coala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cafu Ringaa who took care of the corner kick. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Desportivo Coala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cafu Ringaa was slow to take the kick. During this time Galo do Japi's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Cafu Ringaa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Desportivo Coala's Bernardinho Sharkin did a great save. Claudinho Dracena got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alex Favoretto. The supporters of Desportivo Coala booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Rolfsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Desportivo Coala's Bernardinho Sharkin got control of the ball when Carlos Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Renato Saraiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardinho Sharkin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Renato Saraiva ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernardinho Sharkin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Santana in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastião Moraes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cléberson Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardinho Sharkin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cléberson Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 52nd minute, Carlos Santana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardinho Sharkin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulinho Salles during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Desportivo Coala getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Paulinho Salles hit a great ball. Bernardinho Sharkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Santana in the 63rd minute of play forced Desportivo Coala's goalkeeper Bernardinho Sharkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Claudinho Dracena in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galo do Japi's Durvalino Caca-Rato. Bernardinho Sharkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Saraiva in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Paulo Renato Saraiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardinho Sharkin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Desportivo Coala made a substitution. Maurinho Maringá replaced Sebastião Moraes. Bernardinho Sharkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Saraiva in the 86th minute of play. Bernardinho Sharkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Desportivo Coala's Paulinho Salles got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Carlos Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardinho Sharkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Claudinho Dracena in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galo do Japi's Durvalino Caca-Rato. In the 93rd minute, Paulinho Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardinho Sharkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Ringaa in the 94th minute of play. Paulo Renato Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galo do Japi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
