Renan Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Galsino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Galsino took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Melo. Renan Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Hugo de Amorim acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hussein Faraj. Renan Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peng Yu Jian, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's Aykut Canel got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Nafarroa in the 25th minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Boström came free, but Hugo de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Mosqueteiros 4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo de Amorim should have stopped the shot. Hugo de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykut Canel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Serafino Nafarroa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mosqueteiros 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 44th minute Charlie Boström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Boström in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
