After 3 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Cléberson Lara. In the 12th minute Paulo Renato Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Nafarroa in the 13th minute of play. Ronaldo Giovanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Nafarroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 16 minutes, Carlos Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galo do Japi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peng Yu Jian in the 18th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Millano Almandoz in the 21st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Serafino Nafarroa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldo Giovanelli was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Mosqueteiros 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peng Yu Jian in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldo Giovanelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Millano Almandoz in the 36th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Carlos Santana took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hugo de Amorim to make any attempt to save it. When César dos Santos fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galo do Japi's protests and gave César dos Santos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mosqueteiros 4EVER booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. César dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Galsino came free, but Ronaldo Giovanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Hugo de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Mosqueteiros 4EVER from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Millano Almandoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldo Giovanelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Galsino went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Galo do Japi's Jonatan Rolfsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Álvaro Pirani in the 84 minute of the game. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Millano Almandoz in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Santana in the 87th minute of play forced Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Hugo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by César dos Santos. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Hugo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Saraiva in the 94th minute of play.
