Magno Garcia started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, October 04's Emilio Cascajares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Demaria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Fellipe Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. October 04's supporters rose to their feet, but Fellipe Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Demaria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Emilio Cascajares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Emilio Cascajares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augusto Demaria. Tormenta EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Cascajares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eskil Vester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Valdivia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Cascajares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Tormenta EC defense, Emilio Cascajares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Demaria. The Tormenta EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Demaria should have stopped the shot. Eskil Vester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Garcia in the 26th minute of play. Augusto Demaria came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by October 04's Emilio Cascajares. But to his dismay, Emilio Cascajares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Emilio Cascajares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Demaria having to make a save. In the 35th minute, Emilio Cascajares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The October 04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Emilio Cascajares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Augusto Demaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Cascajares in the 38th minute of the match. Claudinei Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Magno Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tormenta EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Basílio Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The Tormenta EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. October 04 were winning 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilio Cascajares to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, October 04's Emilio Cascajares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Demaria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eskil Vester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magno Garcia's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Emilio Cascajares took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Augusto Demaria to make any attempt to save it. October 04 made a substitution. Luís Paulo Pernambucano replaced Aníbal Correia. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tormenta EC's goalkeeper Augusto Demaria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Tormenta EC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Cunha. The supporters of October 04 booed when Tormenta EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Cascajares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Demaria having to make a save. A collision led to October 04 getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Cai Yuan hit a great ball. Cai Yuan hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Emilio Cascajaress short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Augusto Demaria to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute, Andrey Nazarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 minutes of play, Tormenta EC's Magno Garcia made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eskil Vester was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eskil Vester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Demaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Valle in the 94th minute of the match. The October 04 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing October 04 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
