The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Renan Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nonatos United's Richard-Dean Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Boström in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Boström in the 17th minute of play forced Nonatos United's goalkeeper Richard-Dean Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roman Koenig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of A.A. Francana booed when Nonatos United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aykut Canel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard-Dean Textex read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Duda Vargas heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 32ndth minute of the game Duda Vargas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Renan Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Cefero in the 34th minute of the match. Renan Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Cefero in the 37th minute of play. Duda Vargas's late challenge caught a A.A. Francana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duda Vargas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of A.A. Francana booed when Nonatos United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Roman Koenig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard-Dean Textex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Nonatos United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Cefero made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Nonatos United were awarded a corner. Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri went to the cornerflag to take it. Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri made a great header on Nonatos United's corner, it was just that A.A. Francana's Renan Melo managed to reach the ball for a save. Richard-Dean Textex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykut Canel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Hussein Faraj. Nonatos United's Téo da Silva was substituted for Angelo Cefero. A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hussein Faraj hit a great ball. Richard-Dean Textex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Boström in the 71st minute of the match. Bartosz Bereszynski made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Roman Koenig. A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Erik Souza hit a great ball. If Téo da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykut Canel in the 84th minute of play forced Nonatos United's goalkeeper Richard-Dean Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Nonatos United's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Koenig came free, but Richard-Dean Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chants of Nonatos United echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as A.A. Francana had held the ball for most of the match.
