Richard-Dean Textex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Marques in the 13th minute of the match. When Angelo Cefero fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nonatos United's protests and gave Angelo Cefero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GLADIADORES booed when Nonatos United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Cefero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Nonatos United's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Andrade came free, but Richard-Dean Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Rafa Marques made a precise shot to the right of Richard-Dean Textex. Nonatos United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Rafa Marques notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Nonatos United's Richard-Dean Textex. With a little luck, GLADIADORES's Andrei Cerbu got control of the ball when Angelo Cefero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Richard-Dean Textex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Marques in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Cefero in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Cerbu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Andrade in the 34th minute of play forced Nonatos United's goalkeeper Richard-Dean Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nonatos United's zone, Rafa Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard-Dean Textex came out of the goal and Rafa Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th match minute, Nonatos United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Cefero to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 57th minute Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Cerbu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was Valdemar da Cunha who took care of the corner kick.
