Despite this Régis de Queirós quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A.A. But to his dismay, Aykut Canel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Régis de Queirós was a little too slow when Aykut Canel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iustin Bungeanu to make the kick off. Régis de Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. A.A. Francana's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
