In the 10th minute, GLADIADORES's Johannes Stein seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Johannes Stein the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of GLADIADORES protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Johannes Stein had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GLADIADORES! GLADIADORES:s Andrei Cerbu showed great skill when he stopped Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink:s penalty. GLADIADORES's Andrei Cerbu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 25th minute of play. Rony Zanette was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Sérgio Donato capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sérgio Donato really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Nonatos United's Augusto Dias quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcel Catarinense, made in the 29th minute of the game. Andrei Cerbu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nonatos United's Rony Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Andrade in the 33rd minute of play. Andrei Cerbu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Marcel Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, GLADIADORES's Marcel Catarinense got a free kick in the 47th minute. GLADIADORES's Dito de Carvalho was substituted for Wilson Ramalho. GLADIADORES's Tales Toledo was substituted for Sérgio Donato. The supporters of Nonatos United booed when GLADIADORES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink made a kick off. Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Andrei Cerbu made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Backlund came free, but Andrei Cerbu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Andrade hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Wilson Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nonatos United's Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andrei Cerbu. That made the score 1-2 after 71 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Nonatos United's João Pedro de Amaral got a free kick in the 79th minute. Rony Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Souto in the 81st minute of play. César Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes of play, GLADIADORES's César Souto made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rony Zanette was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Téo da Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Andrei Cerbu made a huge save. GLADIADORES's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
