Oséias Palmeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruninho Vaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oséias Palmeira ran back to his position shaking his head. Cui Qian Jun kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 12 minutes of play, SC Bertioga's Anderson Pombal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Miguel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the game, SC Bertioga's Benigno Gorosti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Miguel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to SC Bertioga getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Benigno Gorosti hit a great ball. Bruninho Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Bertioga's goalkeeper Bruninho Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 24 minutes SC Bertioga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luis Blasi who took care of the corner kick. Bruninho Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oséias Palmeira in the 28th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Luis Blasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruninho Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Bertioga's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oséias Palmeira made a kick off. Oséias Palmeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruninho Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Oséias Palmeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruninho Vaz having to make a save. Bruninho Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Palmeira in the 55th minute of play. Bruninho Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 66 played minutes Borussia Dortmund MZB got a freekick which was hit by Clarence Seedorf. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Guga Capixaba was substituted for Clarence Seedorf. In the 77thth minute of the game Gernando Pernambucano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Bertioga's Bruninho Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruninho Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Blasi in the 82nd minute of the match. Carlos Miguel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Pombal in the 83rd minute of play. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Carlos Miguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Pombal in the 83rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, SC Bertioga's Flavio Troiano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After 86 played minutes SC Bertioga got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Sengrat. 87 minutes into the match, SC Bertioga's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Pernambucano came free, but Bruninho Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruninho Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando Pernambucano's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 93rd match minute, Borussia Dortmund MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Hever to maneuver through the defense. Gildo de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
