In the 7th minute, Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivier Gilg in the 9th minute of play. Paulo Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Chico Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Song Xiong Hong in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Sergipano came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Song Xiong Hong in the 37th minute of play. DIPLOMATA FC PAB were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Palestra do Interior's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Song Xiong Hong took the corner. 40 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Godoi came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes in the game Betinho Moreno did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Renato Quadros. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Godoi made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Song Xiong Hong in the 50th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 51st match minute, Palestra do Interior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Matorin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chico Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Godoi in the 63rd minute of play. DIPLOMATA FC PAB made a substitution. Teoman Tokhan replaced Song Xiong Hong. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Vitório Lago replaced Paulo Godoi. In the 67th minute, Arnulfo Dolfos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Vitório Lago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chico Donato was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Chico Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Lago in the 74th minute of the match. Allan Varela was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olivier Gilg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 78 minute of play. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palestra do Interior fans cheered their team off the field, for while DIPLOMATA FC PAB had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
