Fabinho Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee showed Juninho de Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Brasiliense FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Juninho de Azevedo hit a great ball. If Fabinho Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, Encanto's Fabinho Pernambucano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wágner Seco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brasiliense FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernardinho Paes was slow to take the kick. During this time Encanto's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Encanto's corner Bernardinho Paes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wágner Seco quite easily take care of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Wágner Seco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fabinho Pernambucano might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wágner Seco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabinho Pernambucano ran back to his position shaking his head. Wágner Seco made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Fabinho Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Brasiliense FC's Juninho de Azevedo got a free kick in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the Brasiliense FC defense, Fabinho Pernambucano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wágner Seco. The Brasiliense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wágner Seco should have stopped the shot. Wágner Seco was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Osvaldinho Rocha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Osvaldinho Rocha really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Nico Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Amaral in the 37th minute of play. Wágner Seco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabinho Pernambucano in the 38th minute. Dé Amaral scored 3-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nico Tasso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Brasiliense FC booed when Encanto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Hames didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brasiliense FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Encanto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dé Amaral took the corner. The corner ended in Dé Amaral almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Encanto's Nico Tasso did a great save. Brasiliense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.
