In the 3rd minute, Caco Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Péter Pálffy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Péter Pálffy made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Caco Moreno sent off a good shot on target. Péter Pálffy was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Caco Moreno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Caco Moreno really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After having played for 10 minutes, Caco Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Família Ressaca MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caco Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute Neycho Mudrov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neycho Mudrov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capivara FC's goalkeeper Péter Pálffy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Capivara FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eloy Soto was slow to take the kick. During this time Família Ressaca MZ's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Eloy Soto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Péter Pálffy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 25 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Mota. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Moreno in the 26th minute of play forced Capivara FC's goalkeeper Péter Pálffy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Família Ressaca MZ booed when Capivara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Junior didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Paulo Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Paulo Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhang Chen in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Neycho Mudrov to make the kick off. João Paulo Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doriva Tavares in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Neycho Mudrov in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Paulo Silva saved Família Ressaca MZ from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Neycho Mudrov notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Família Ressaca MZ's João Paulo Silva. João Paulo Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Neycho Mudrov came free, but João Paulo Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Família Ressaca MZ's Caco Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Caco Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Paulo Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Tavares in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho do Vale came free, but Péter Pálffy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Capivara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Moreno came free, but Péter Pálffy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
