Caco Moreno might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denílson Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caco Moreno ran back to his position shaking his head. Denílson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Moreno in the 5th minute of play. Denílson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pecém's Denílson Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Pecém from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute Juarês Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Moreno in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Xie Shu Tian came free, but João Paulo Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Família Ressaca MZ's zone, Juarês Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Paulo Silva came out of the goal and Juarês Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Família Ressaca MZ's João Paulo Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xie Shu Tian in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes Família Ressaca MZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ibon Obeso who took care of the corner kick. In the 22nd minute Xie Shu Tian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Paulo Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xie Shu Tian in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Xie Shu Tian came free, but João Paulo Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caco Moreno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denílson Leão having to make a save. Denílson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Xie Shu Tian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes in the game Luca Schroeder did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Juarês Borges. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th minute of the game Luca Schroeder made a throw-in which Lucio Austin played forward. In the 61st minute Lucio Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper João Paulo Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Diderik Schenning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucio Austin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but João Paulo Silva made a huge save. In the 83rdth minute of the game Xie Shu Tian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Família Ressaca MZ's João Paulo Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Pecém's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Moreno came free, but Denílson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Pecém's João Paulo Silva threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucio Austin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Austin in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Paulo Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
