After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ronaldinho do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Família Ressaca MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldinho do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maicon Trevisan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maicon Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho do Vale in the 17th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match, João Pedro Moreno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Paulo Silva saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Jereba 4EVER booed when Família Ressaca MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Pfeffer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Jereba 4EVER's João Pedro Moreno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Paulo Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 44 minutes, Natanael Munhoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jereba 4EVER and the Família Ressaca MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jereba 4EVER's goalkeeper Maicon Trevisan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maicon Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovani Sanches stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Sanches in the 52nd minute of play forced Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper João Paulo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jereba 4EVER's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
