Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredinho Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Fabiano Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Paraibano in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Marquês de Herval got a corner. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Luís da Rocha ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 20thth minute of the game Alfredo Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Fabiano Neto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Glauco Mineiro came free, but Dida Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabiano Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Martins went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After taking down the ball on Marquês de Herval's corner Pedro Luís da Rocha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabiano Neto quite easily take care of the ball. Alfredo Martins took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano Neto. Fabiano Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 34 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by German Cano. Fabiano Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Vieira in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute Alfredo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute German Cano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Nestor Paraibano sped through Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabiano Neto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceyhan Ilıcak in the 63rd minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Glauco Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Marquês de Herval from getting a goal against them. Fabiano Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
