An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Rosado in the 9th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Will Muralhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joélson Araújo got free with Will Muralhas in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michel Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barra Gøl having to interfere. Will Muralhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joélson Araújo in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Michel Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barra Gøl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Will Muralhas managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Galo na Veia FC™'s Joélson Araújo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Galo na Veia FC™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Umberto Moreno in the 29th minute. The supporters of Galo na Veia FC™ booed when SE Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes, Edson Chaves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SE Palmeiras and the Galo na Veia FC™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giuseppe Esteves made a kick off. After 61 minutes, Tiago Gabriel Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galo na Veia FC™ and the SE Palmeiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Galo na Veia FC™! Barra Gøl went to the wrong direction when Alfredinho Reis was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After some careless play in the SE Palmeiras defense, Joélson Araújo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Will Muralhas. The SE Palmeiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Will Muralhas should have stopped the shot. Will Muralhas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joélson Araújo's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Flavinho Rosado scored 3-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Will Muralhas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the SE Palmeiras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
