Shen Yi Yuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvaldo de Toledo in the 3rd minute. Shen Yi Yuan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bin Shevchenko went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bin Shevchenko in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shen Yi Yuan saved Goblins F.C. from getting behind. If Bin Shevchenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Shen Yi Yuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. İlkan Lefter hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes of play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shen Yi Yuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Goblins F.C.'s zone, Bin Shevchenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shen Yi Yuan came out of the goal and Bin Shevchenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shen Yi Yuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bin Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas-Ignacio Lugano hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Shen Yi Yuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 42 played minutes Goblins F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ferenc Ferencz. After having played for 42 minutes, Nildo Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blumenau Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nildo Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nildo Dantas came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Shen Yi Yuan could save by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bin Shevchenko to make the kick off. If Augusto Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Edvaldo de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite got control of the ball when Edvard Carlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Bin Shevchenko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Shen Yi Yuan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute Bin Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shen Yi Yuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blumenau Esporte Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
