Reynaldo Cestarolli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cestarolli FC's Luizão Cestarolli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alberto Malheiro in the 15 minute of the game. A throw-in in the 16th minute of the game was made by Douglas Cestarolli with Jefferson de Mendonça as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 17th minute, Abdelbassir Cestarolli made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Adán. SC Braga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 20th minute Zigmantas Gimbutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Cestarolli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reynaldo Cestarolli. Reynaldo Cestarolli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 42nd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Cestarolli FC's corner Jefferson de Mendonça fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Antonio Adán quite easily take care of the ball. Henrique Cestarolli hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zigmantas Gimbutas to make the kick off. Abdelbassir Cestarolli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Antonio Adán made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Lira came free, but Reynaldo Cestarolli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Braga's Quintino Carvalhais was substituted for Valdomiro Lira. 67 minutes into the game, Ruy Mello threw the ball into play from the sideline. SC Braga's Gastão Veiga quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 73rd minute, Stig-Åke Mattsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Braga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. A hard shot 77 in the game by Abdelbassir Cestarolli from a close distance when the talented Antonio Adán managed to make a qualified save. SC Braga's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 81st minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Cestarolli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Åke Mattsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Cestarolli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stig-Åke Mattsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute Stig-Åke Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Cestarolli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdelbassir Cestarolli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Antonio Adán made a huge save. Antonio Adán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Braga had won after a very even match.
