Patric Isaksson came out of the goal and George Messi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. George Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Lago in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Messi. Gunnar Ekeroth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patric Isaksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, George Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Three Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but George Messi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patric Isaksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. George Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Tastzian in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute Agustín Tastzian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
