Capivariano F.C.'s Silvinho Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Capivariano F.C. from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes in the game Nando Rossi did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gervasio Kemen. The supporters of Corinthians booed when Capivariano F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Enrique Domingues sped through Corinthians's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jaime Almeida. After 25 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Natã Pirani. Silvinho Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Pirani in the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Messi in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvinho Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Kiril Biradzhiev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corinthians's supporters rose to their feet, but Kiril Biradzhiev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvinho Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Capivariano F.C. were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Corinthians's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fiori de Lara took the corner. Aleksander Prus made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Corinthians's Leopoldo Palmeira. Jaime Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Domingues in the 44th minute of the match. Iván Urtzi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Domingues made a kick off. Cristiano Messi took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvinho Veiga. Silvinho Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 57thth minute of the game Cristiano Messi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capivariano F.C.'s Silvinho Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvinho Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Messi in the 58th minute of play. Nando Rossi made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gervasio Kemen however managed to control. In the 68th match minute, Capivariano F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Zmărăndescu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Messi in the 71st minute of play forced Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvinho Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Zmărăndescu hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Capivariano F.C.'s Alfredão Veiga was substituted for Enrique Domingues. In the 92nd match minute, Capivariano F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Veiga to maneuver through the defense. The Capivariano F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Capivariano F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
