Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epaminondas Baba kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pranas Užkuraitis got free with Borys Gruchacz in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Lara in the 25th minute of play. If Pranas Užkuraitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 27th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borys Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pranas Užkuraitis in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Joinville United - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. Pranas Užkuraitis might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Borys Gruchacz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pranas Užkuraitis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute Pranas Užkuraitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Gruchacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Yang Hui Wen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petr Čech was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 44th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Joinville United - FSCMZ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mané Lara to make the kick off. Borys Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epaminondas Baba in the 55th minute of the match. Borys Gruchacz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epaminondas Baba's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Joinville United - FSCMZ defense, Pranas Užkuraitis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Borys Gruchacz. The Joinville United - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Borys Gruchacz should have stopped the shot. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yang Hui Wen in the 62nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Yang Hui Wen could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Petr Čech however easily saved by the left post. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Didi Cardozo was substituted for Maurício Donatello. Joinville United - FSCMZ made a substitution. Perivaldo de Lara replaced Mané Lara. In the 70th minute Joinville United - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Lennart Khan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Joinville United - FSCMZ's Lennart Khan to fire away a dangerous shot which Petr Čech despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perivaldo de Lara got free with Petr Čech in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Perivaldo de Lara had several of the Batalhão do Peçanha's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Petr Čech as he didn't even see the shot coming. Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yang Hui Wen in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yang Hui Wen in the 77th minute of play forced Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes Batalhão do Peçanha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lennart Khan who took care of the corner kick. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Lennart Khan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Petr Čech in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Petr Čech was completely defenseless when Lennart Khan shot a long shot which deflected off the right pole and into the goal in the game's 78th minute, 1-3. With an all-out effort, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Petr Čech threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Perivaldo de Lara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A nice corner shot did that Karel Otto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Petr Čech quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arnaldo Tróia made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Joinville United - FSCMZ's Fernando Vale. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Joinville United - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
