The Batalhão do Peçanha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loco Orange. The crowd rose to their feet as Arsenal de Gols F.C's Elias Siqueira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Petr Čech. That made the score 3-1 after 42 minutes of play. A collision led to Batalhão do Peçanha getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Vânderson Vasconcelos hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Pedro Baptista made a kick off. If Zé Pedro Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Pedro Baptista in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Gröhe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Pedro Baptista struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Marcelo Gröhe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batalhão do Peçanha. Arsenal de Gols F.C made a substitution.
