After having played for 22 minutes, Amado Froila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Froila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel van der Bij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Fontes in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE got a corner. Talento Futebol clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Célio Fontes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Juvenal Sergipano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. When Fraco Zago fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talento Futebol clube's protests and gave Fraco Zago a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Talento Futebol clube got a freekick which was hit by Fraco Zago. Fraco Zago kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Célio Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Perez in the 66th minute of play.
