In the 2nd minute, Célio Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Juvenal Sergipano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Billberg in the 9th minute of play forced CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Juvenal Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when Poetass FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Rzentkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juvenal Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Brysz in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Célio Fontes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moisés Arruda. Célio Fontes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Juvenal Sergipano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kalle Billberg's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Brysz in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Poetass FC's Vicente Heidemann got a free kick in the 28th minute. Célio Fontes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Moisés Arruda came out and tried to block the shot, but Célio Fontes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 31st minute. After 33 minutes of play, Poetass FC's Witalis Brysz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juvenal Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celso Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Moisés Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lobo Zornoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Arruda having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Poetass FC:s goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Witalis Brysz made the kick off in the second half. Moisés Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Brysz came free, but Juvenal Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE defense, Witalis Brysz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juvenal Sergipano. The CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juvenal Sergipano should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lobo Zornoza in the 57th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Moisés Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Jon-Egil Schjelderup got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Celso Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moisés Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lobo Zornoza in the 76th minute of play. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE from getting a goal against them. Poetass FC's Nildo de Souza was substituted for Jon-Egil Schjelderup. In the 79th minute of the match Poetass FC got a corner. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celsinho Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Celsinho Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano did a great save. Juvenal Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moisés Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Tande in the 84th minute of the match. Juvenal Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Brysz in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Buteanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Nae Buteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Brysz in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Witalis Brysz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Poetass FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Poetass FC.
