Osvaldinho Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 5th minute of the match. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Motta in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Facopo FBPA's Dalmo Motta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Lalo Rosas got a free kick in the 11th minute. New England Minas's Oscar Nordmark managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cheng Ling Yang in the 16 minute of the game. Caetano Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Nicholas having to interfere. Zhivko Húntev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Jeremy Nicholas made a huge save. In the 25th minute Alperen Öksüz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Zhivko Húntev came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Edgardo Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New England Minas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Facopo FBPA the free kick. Glen Conklin scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldinho Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute Aloísio Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Pacheco in the 35th minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Zhivko Húntev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's Zhivko Húntev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremy Nicholas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roman Major kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ilgaz Aydoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Aloísio Munhoz made the kick off in the second half. Osvaldinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alperen Öksüz in the 56th minute of play. Facopo FBPA's Osvaldinho Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Pacheco in the 61st minute of play. Osvaldinho Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. New England Minas made a substitution. Tio Lio replaced Edgardo Silva. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tio Lio in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldinho Moreno saved Facopo FBPA from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Munhoz came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emmitt Benson hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Zhivko Húntev came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, New England Minas's Tio Lio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldinho Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Facopo FBPA getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Cheng Ling Yang hit a great ball. In the 84th minute of the match Jörgen Frohm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldinho Moreno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the New England Minas defense, Zhivko Húntev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. The New England Minas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremy Nicholas should have stopped the shot. Osvaldinho Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tio Lio in the 92nd minute. Osvaldinho Moreno made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Tio Lio sent off a good shot on target. New England Minas were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
