Remedios SC's Bunda Lele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Remedios SC from getting a goal against them. The tension between the Remedios SC and the New England Minas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bunda Lele didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Silva went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Bunda Lele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 11th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisão Ribeiro during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Remedios SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Remedios SC's Bunda Lele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Remedios SC from getting a goal against them. New England Minas's Jörgen Frohm was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bunda Lele in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 18th minute Dom Fredon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Remedios SC got a corner. New England Minas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 楚庭潮 in the 20th minute of the match. Bunda Lele made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Edgardo Silva sent off a good shot on target. Bunda Lele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alperen Öksüz in the 27th minute. A very good chance. 楚庭潮 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Nicholas having to interfere. With a little luck, Remedios SC's Bunda Lele got control of the ball when Edgardo Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line.

After having played for 53 minutes, Kaká Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Remedios SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaká Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by Nelson de Andrade. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Pacheco in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bunda Lele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bunda Lele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Pacheco in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas got control of the ball when Kaká Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. New England Minas made a substitution.
