The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheng Ling Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tony Pacheco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Osvaldinho Moreno. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 16th minute Zhivko Húntev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Osvaldinho Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Facopo FBPA fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Facopo FBPA's Zhivko Húntev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Caetano Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aloísio Munhoz to strike the kick off in the second half. The Facopo FBPA fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Facopo FBPA's Zhivko Húntev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Facopo FBPA's Caetano Domingues managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ye Gang Cheng in the 59 minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Zhivko Húntev took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Jeremy Nicholas to make any attempt to save it. New England Minas's Tio Lio was substituted for Edgardo Silva. New England Minas made a substitution. Emmitt Benson replaced Alperen Öksüz. Osvaldinho Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tio Lio in the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in New England Minas's zone, Zhivko Húntev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal and Zhivko Húntev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas got control of the ball when Aloísio Munhoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Osvaldinho Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tio Lio's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Tio Lio came free, but Osvaldinho Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Facopo FBPA's Osvaldinho Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tio Lio in the 95th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
