Egun Pais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Silva in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute, Hector Bazkoare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andy Cole might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremy Nicholas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andy Cole ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Cole in the 8th minute of the match. Andy Cole's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremy Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole. But to his dismay, Andy Cole quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Egun Pais made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Tony Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Pacheco got free with Egun Pais in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in New England Minas's zone, Andy Cole stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal and Andy Cole tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ye Gang Cheng's late challenge caught a Floresta Negra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ye Gang Cheng helped the player get up and apologised. Ye Gang Cheng kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

Floresta Negra FC's Vivaldo Amorim was substituted for Vânderson Vale. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andy Cole stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Floresta Negra FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Andy Cole hit a great ball. Egun Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tony Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New England Minas's goalie prevented a goal. Egun Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Alperen Öksüz hit a great ball. Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski was substituted for Andy Cole. New England Minas's Hipolito Emenon was substituted for Jörgen Frohm. Alperen Öksüz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Pacheco in the 71st minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Jardel Lewandowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jardel Lewandowski sped through New England Minas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. Jeremy Nicholas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jardel Lewandowski went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Egun Pais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tony Pacheco went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tio Lio in the 97th minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
