The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, SAS's Sandrinho Valle got a free kick in the 7th minute. Bunda Lele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Eliseu Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Agostinho Carneiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bunda Lele could save by the left post. In the 14th minute, Júlio Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agostinho Carneiro got free with Bunda Lele in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Salles in the 22nd minute of play forced Remedios SC's goalkeeper Bunda Lele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Salles in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bunda Lele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remedios SC's Bunda Lele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Marques in the 28th minute of play. In the 35th minute Luiz Guilherme Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bunda Lele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agostinho Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Bunda Lele made a huge save. Bunda Lele made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Luiz Guilherme Paraense sent off a good shot on target. Edvaldo Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dom Fredon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Júlio Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, SAS's goal looked a bit too open when 楚庭潮 came free, but Edvaldo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Guilherme Paraense was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Paraense in the 65th minute of play forced Remedios SC's goalkeeper Bunda Lele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Dom Fredon could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Edvaldo Brasil however easily saved by the left post. Dom Fredon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Edvaldo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcel Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, SAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Valle to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 95 minutes, 楚庭潮 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Remedios SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 楚庭潮 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
