Claudinei Tasso started the match with the kick off. 27 de Mayo's Rogério Soberano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Yang Sang in the 3rd minute of play. Beto Heidemann hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo got control of the ball when Zézinho Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zézinho Rossi. 8 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Éder Madureira came free, but Rogério Soberano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Sagarana Clube from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute Serafim Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Soberano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Éder Madureira in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Soberano saved 27 de Mayo from getting behind. Yu Yang Sang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Yang Sang came free, but Rogério Soberano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Sagarana Clube were awarded a corner. Serafim Barros went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Serafim Barros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rogério Soberano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sagarana Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serafim Barros in the 30th minute. Adhemar Gaspar's late challenge caught a Sagarana Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adhemar Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. Benê Hoffmann hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Tasso came free, but Benedito Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to 27 de Mayo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Virgílio Cardoso hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Sagarana Clube's Serafim Barros tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafim Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Luís Guilherme de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Soberano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Heidemann in the 53rd minute of the match. Éder Madureira hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes of play, 27 de Mayo's Claudinei Tasso made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedito Trigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benedito Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Tasso in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Éder Madureira. In the 71st minute, Yu Yang Sang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sagarana Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Rogério Soberano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Salles in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 27 de Mayo's Edmílson Mattos got a free kick in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Rossi came free, but Benedito Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yu Yang Sang. A collision led to 27 de Mayo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jarne Vrancken hit a great ball. Wilson Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
