José-Luis Chilavert came out and tried to block the shot, but Mohamed Basso slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 7th minute. With a little luck, EoDu Uai Sôccer's José-Luis Chilavert got control of the ball when Mohamed Basso tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Mohamed Basso took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for José-Luis Chilavert to make any attempt to save it. 17 minutes into the match, Mohamed Basso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José-Luis Chilavert, 4-0. 21 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper José-Luis Chilavert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohamed Basso. Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Cannata in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Marcelo Chabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohamed Basso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José-Luis Chilavert having to make a save. Capibaribe Stars's Mohamed Basso got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Demetrio Cannata made a precise shot to the right of Thomás Toscano. Capibaribe Stars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The supporters of Capibaribe Stars booed when EoDu Uai Sôccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kylian D Agostino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomás Toscano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jardel Cabezon's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohamed Basso was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes, Capibaribe Stars's Mohamed Basso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José-Luis Chilavert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Wilton Fontes hit a great ball. Senen Tartales was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 97 played minutes EoDu Uai Sôccer got a freekick which was hit by Senen Tartales. José-Luis Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Basso, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Capibaribe Stars were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of EoDu Uai Sôccer for a fine match.
