In the 8th minute Nixon Richard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tana Rede got free with Júlio Baiano in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfredinho Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nixon Richard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Barões F. C.'s Júlio Baiano got control of the ball when Vítor Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredinho Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Paraibano in the 19th minute of play. Pedro Paulo Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Baiano came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Granadero10's Ricardinho Fonseca. But to his dismay, Ricardinho Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Júlio Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Nixon Richard came free, but Alfredinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nixon Richard in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredinho Cavalcante saved Granadero10 from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio Souto in the 44th minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Alfredinho Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Antunes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Barões F. C.'s Júlio Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tana Rede in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Barões F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tana Rede came free, but Júlio Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Vítor Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredinho Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tana Rede, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Júlio Baiano came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Granadero10's Tana Rede. But to his dismay, Tana Rede quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Barões F. C. made a substitution. Cris Batistuta replaced Luiz Fábio Souto. In the 77th minute Beniamin Madajczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Granadero10's Erick Cavero was substituted for Laerte Soeiro. 89 minutes into the match, Barões F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Ioritz came free, but Júlio Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tana Rede in the 90th minute of the match. Nixon Richard came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfredinho Cavalcante could save by the left post. 95 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Cris Batistuta came free, but Alfredinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Granadero10 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
