CON-E-CO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Conjunto Paisa the free kick. After a rather tough play, CON-E-CO's Anibal Viviano got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Pedrinho Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Bruno Bruñon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Héctor Gaviria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Conjunto Paisa's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Bruñon came free, but Héctor Gaviria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harriet Basabe really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artaldo Longoria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Artaldo Longoria made a precise shot to the right of Héctor Gaviria. Conjunto Paisa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Angel in the 56th minute of play forced CON-E-CO's goalkeeper Demesio Galarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Artaldo Longoria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CON-E-CO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artaldo Longoria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Demesio Galarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Angel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes CON-E-CO got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Cevallo. Conjunto Paisa's Héctor Gaviria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artaldo Longoria in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, CON-E-CO's Argider Lizundia got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Fix Zubiaur made a precise shot to the right of Demesio Galarreta. CON-E-CO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the CON-E-CO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Conjunto Paisa.
