Christophe Troxler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taurino Barambio in the 16th minute. Agustín Álvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute Agustín Álvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordan Pickford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Martínez struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Christophe Troxler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for the mills. Jordan Pickford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Álvarez in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Reuben Meade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jordan Pickford was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of the mills booed when Montevideo City Torque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gu Sha Zhen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Álvarez in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jordan Pickford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Álvarez in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jordan Pickford saved the mills from getting behind. In the 47th minute Agustín Álvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordan Pickford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

the mills made a substitution. Jader Duran replaced Daniel Martínez. Jordan Pickford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillelme Lomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in the mills reached it. Christophe Troxler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jader Duran, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Guillelme Lomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cresconio Bobis kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Montevideo City Torque had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
