Angelo Prior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel-Falcao García, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Radamel-Falcao García who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MILLONARIOS FC's Angelo Prior was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucas Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Blomqvist in the 26th minute of the match. Liu Feng Zhen hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. MILLONARIOS FC's Angelo Prior proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save MILLONARIOS FC from getting a goal against them. When Christoffer Blomqvist came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the MILLONARIOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christoffer Blomqvist couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christoffer Blomqvist to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Clavell in the 50th minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Angelo Prior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Christoffer Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Blomqvist in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, MILLONARIOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Leys to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 65 minutes, Christoffer Blomqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MILLONARIOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoffer Blomqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
