The audience thought a goal was coming when Eneas Bernia got free with Sebastián Torrico in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Leceta came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yaman Akar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Santiago Fuentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Fuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joao Zuazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
