Mihai Gherase's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristoffer Martinsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Oscar Frascuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nickolai Skivild in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Octavia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Justo Mano was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Empate's players had a chance to rest. Deportivo Empate's Justo Mano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oscar Frascuelo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Oscar Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beniamin Bendyk in the 38th minute of play. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingmar Wiman to make the kick off. The supporters of Octavia booed when Deportivo Empate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beniamin Bendyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulin Abecia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kristoffer Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihai Gherase fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Martinsson having to interfere. Kristoffer Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Gherase, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Paulin Abecia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Octavia's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulin Abecia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristoffer Martinsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Octavia's Oscar Frascuelo got control of the ball when Nickolai Skivild tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beniamin Bendyk's late challenge caught a Octavia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beniamin Bendyk helped the player get up and apologised. Beniamin Bendyk kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulin Abecia in the 81st minute of play forced Deportivo Empate's goalkeeper Kristoffer Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Ingmar Wiman put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Oscar Frascuelo. Oscar Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Wiman in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deportivo Empate had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
