The audience was convinced that Ponciano Abarca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panos Papadimidis was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Marcelo Barovero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Los Kollas's Panos Papadimidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ponciano Abarca in the 17th minute of play. Panos Papadimidis came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by River CBBA's Ponciano Abarca. But to his dismay, Ponciano Abarca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of River CBBA booed when Los Kollas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvino Abancens didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arano Abendano came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the River CBBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arano Abendano couldn't finish the play. Los Kollas's Panos Papadimidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ponciano Abarca in the 43rd minute of play. Llope Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

River CBBA's Cipriano Abechuco was substituted for Varis Birgelis. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Funes to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Funes got free with Panos Papadimidis in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th match minute, Los Kollas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvino Abancens to maneuver through the defense. River CBBA made a substitution. Guerau Abeitia replaced Modesto Ado. In the 65th minute, Salvino Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 66 minutes, Argoitz Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River CBBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argoitz Abeijon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Los Kollas's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Funes came free, but Panos Papadimidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sayveon Abad in the 72nd minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute of the game Salvino Abancens made a throw-in which Abraham Cabrera played forward. If Juan Funes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Funes in the 76th minute of play forced Los Kollas's goalkeeper Panos Papadimidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Juan Funes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Panos Papadimidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute of the game Salvino Abancens made a throw-in which Sayveon Abad played forward. Panos Papadimidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Funes in the 93rd minute of play.
