In the 42nd minute Predrag Nograšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Berdugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Llope Abad hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Los Kollas's Sayveon Abad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gonzalo Berdugo. With an all-out effort, Los Kollas's Gonzalo Berdugo threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sayveon Abad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 96 minutes into the game, Rolando Abeita threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sporting Cristal's Cipriano Abeita quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Los Kollas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
