AEK S.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 13 minutes, Marinos Simeonidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Undertaker and the AEK S.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes The Undertaker got a freekick which was hit by Marinos Simeonidis. Vassilis Chatzipetrou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Mitsiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The Undertaker's Vassilis Chatzipetrou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Mitsiou in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, AEK S.C's Vaggelis Mitsiou made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vassilis Chatzipetrou was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th match minute, The Undertaker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panagiotis Klapadakis to maneuver through the defense. Vaggelis Mitsiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lazaros Zoumakis to make the kick off. When Christos Lazariadis fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Undertaker's protests and gave Christos Lazariadis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, one of The Undertaker:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Undertaker. Vassilis Chatzipetrou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Mitsiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Undertaker's Vassilis Chatzipetrou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Mitsiou in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vaggelis Mitsiou in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
