Nikos Stavrou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier García read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After 9 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Georgakopoulos. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sven-Olof Askestät hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Fanis Peros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier García showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Theagenis Giannou made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Aybars Çokman sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the game, Aybars Çokman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Theagenis Giannou. Aybars Çokman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stathis Aggelakos during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lipochσrion FC's Stathis Aggelakos got a free kick in the 20th minute. O.T.E's Javier García played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Stavrou in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Theagenis Giannou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Billy Billy. The crowd rose to their feet as O.T.E's Cuero Buseth slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Theagenis Giannou. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. 28 minutes into the match, Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Theagenis Giannou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Billy Billy. Javier García made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Stavrou in the 30th minute of play. Billy Billy in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Theagenis Giannou, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Billy Billy succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 34th playminute. In the 37th minute, Cuero Buseth reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Theagenis Giannou. The goal made the score 4-0. The referee ignored Lipochσrion FC's protests and gave Necat Baysal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Lipochσrion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necat Baysal to maneuver through the defense. Stathis Aggelakos hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nikos Stavrou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Lipochσrion FC's Nikos Stavrou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier García narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, O.T.E's Javier García got control of the ball when Nikos Stavrou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iason Papadimoulis's late challenge caught a Lipochσrion FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iason Papadimoulis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lipochσrion FC booed when O.T.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iason Papadimoulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier García made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanos Agapoulis in the 62nd minute of play. Theagenis Giannou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cuero Buseth's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. O.T.E made a substitution. Timos Kazantzou replaced Billy Billy. In the 69th minute Timos Kazantzou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theagenis Giannou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier García yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2.
