O.T.E's Javier García played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thymios Pantoflaras in the 32nd minute of play. Viriato Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Billy in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes in the game, Billy Billy dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kyriakos Georgopoulos in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier García saved O.T.E from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Kyriakos Georgopoulos put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Javier García. Javier García made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egemen Tuna in the 46th minute of play. After the first half ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egemen Tuna to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Thymios Pantoflaras. Javier García was a little too slow when Egemen Tuna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-3. Viriato Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Ömer Ongu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Ali Ömer Ongu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viriato Cruz. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Ömer Ongu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. With a little luck, O.T.E's Javier García got control of the ball when Gilberto Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. The O.T.E supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's performance. The match ended with a win for ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ.
