Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Egemen Tuna took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Stathis Aggelakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, Nikos Stavrou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Viriato Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Theagenis Giannou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Gonçalves in the 11th minute of play. Nikos Stavrou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viriato Cruz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stathis Aggelakos. Theagenis Giannou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Georgopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's goalkeeper Viriato Cruz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Viriato Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Stavrou in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match, Nikos Stavrou tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Viriato Cruz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nikos Stavrou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Viriato Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After 51 minutes, Thymios Pantoflaras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ and the Lipochσrion FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lipochσrion FC's Pantelis Mamidakis was substituted for Iraklis Akrivakis. After 52 played minutes ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Thymios Pantoflaras. 56 minutes into the game, Gilberto Gonçalves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Theagenis Giannou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Theagenis Giannou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Thessalonikios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Theagenis Giannou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kyriakos Georgopoulos. Loukas Kritikos hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Theagenis Giannou made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Egemen Tuna sent off a good shot on target. Egemen Tuna came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Theagenis Giannou could save by the left post. In the 71st minute of the match ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ got a corner. Lipochσrion FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Babbis Samiamidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's corner Babbis Samiamidis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Theagenis Giannou quite easily take care of the ball. Theagenis Giannou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Gonçalves in the 82nd minute of the match. Theagenis Giannou was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Kyriakos Georgopoulos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kyriakos Georgopoulos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 91st minute Thanos Agapoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viriato Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Stavrou in the 92nd minute of play. Theagenis Giannou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egemen Tuna in the 94th minute of the match. Alexis Thessalonikios was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Egemen Tuna got free in front of the goal in the 95th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Theagenis Giannou was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
