Henrik Möllgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Eusko having to make a save. Narciso Eusko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Kostas Teneketzis took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Aaron Glanselius to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrik Möllgren to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Stig-Inge Nymoen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aaron Glanselius was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 90th minute Kostas Teneketzis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Glyka Nera FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
