Grigoris Zacharas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Fernandes in the 5th minute of play. KAFSONAS F.C.'s Léo Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save KAFSONAS F.C. from getting a goal against them. Léo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Seabra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Adriano Seabra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Léo Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in KAFSONAS F.C.'s zone, Takis Rodostoglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léo Velloso came out of the goal and Takis Rodostoglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Odysseas Lazaroglou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Léo Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simos Kapataidakis in the 18th minute of play forced AEK KAVALAS FC's goalkeeper Grigoris Zacharas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, KAFSONAS F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kleanthis Basinas to maneuver through the defense. Giorgos Georgakos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Odysseas Lazaroglou scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Léo Velloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. KAFSONAS F.C.'s Giorgos Georgakos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Takis Rodostoglou, made in the 32nd minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, KAFSONAS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fotis Pegiadis came free, but Léo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grigoris Zacharas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makis Zikas in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of AEK KAVALAS FC booed when KAFSONAS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kleanthis Basinas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Marinos Kafkalas with Konstantinos Thomakos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Grigoris Zacharas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kleanthis Basinas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renato Fernandes to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, AEK KAVALAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simos Kapataidakis came free, but Grigoris Zacharas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Marinos Kafkalas threw the ball into play from the sideline. AEK KAVALAS FC's Emil Giurcă quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 61st minute, Giorgos Georgakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to AEK KAVALAS FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Emil Giurcă hit a great ball. The KAFSONAS F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when KAFSONAS F.C.'s Simos Kapataidakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fotis Pegiadis hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. KAFSONAS F.C.'s Kleanthis Basinas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Grigoris Zacharas but with some difficulty. When Simos Kapataidakis got free in front of the goal in the 73rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Grigoris Zacharas was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a little luck, AEK KAVALAS FC's Grigoris Zacharas got control of the ball when Renato Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kleanthis Basinas kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Léo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odysseas Lazaroglou in the 87th minute of the match. AEK KAVALAS FC's attentive Dimosthenis Papachantzoulis managed to snatch the ball when Marinos Kafkalas made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. Léo Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Odysseas Lazaroglou went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. AEK KAVALAS FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KAFSONAS F.C. for a fine match.
