Grigoris Zacharas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Junior in the 6th minute of the match. Alexandros Iordanidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Fotis Pegiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandros Iordanidis having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AEK KAVALAS FC! In the 29th minute there was a penalty for RO Army V55. In the 46th minute, Nestoras Karabidakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half RO Army V55 were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
